Dan Grima and his girlfriend Cazz had only been in Canada for two days by the time he was spotted trying his hand at skim boarding down at Parksville Bay.
The couple, from Sussex, England, have already landed work and are digging in for a new life in B.C.
“It’s even more beautiful then we imagined ... we absolutely love it here,” said Grima, 24, an extreme sports enthusiast, outdoor adventure guide, and free spirit.
