The Oceanside Kings, a peewee house league hockey team, brought home gold after facing teams from Nanaimo, Comox, Gold River and a Bantam girls team.

The local boys’ teamwork and effort paid off, as they went undefeated in all five of their games in the Gold River Peewee Hockey Tournament. The Kings have won two gold medals and one silver medal from the three tournaments they have travelled to this season.
