The Quality Foods Qualicum Beach Triathlon registration is coming to a close and with a few spots left, there’s still time to get those registrations in before it’s too late.

Today is the last day for registration and there is still plenty of room for volunteers as well. Anyone looking to still sign up for the triathlon or wanting to volunteer can sign up on the website at www.qualicumbeachtriathlon.com.

The triathlon has already filled up for participants age four to 11 but there are still spaces left for everyone age 12 and up. Registration closes at midnight tonight, June 10.

The 18th annual Quality Foods Qualicum Beach Triathlon goes Sunday June 22 kicking off at 8 a.m.

Organizers estimate 500 people could take part. The adult circuit is a 400m swim, 18 km bike route and 5 km run, with younger age categories doing shorter versions.

Anyone looking to catch the action can try at the Ravensong Aquatic Centre or catch the athletes along the route for the running or biking portions.
