Oceanside's B.C. Games competitors

Thirteen more athletes from the Oceanside area are heading to the B.C. Summer Games in Nanaimo from July 17–20.

Representing Parksville at the games will be Kalli Gordon (golf coach), Jack Confortin (swimming), Julie Preston (synchronized swimming),  Chantel St. Laurent (towed water sports), Jacob Cloutier (beach volleyball) and Maria St. Pierre (beach volleyball). They will be joining coach Kim Longmuir (athletics) and Dalton Austin (athletics).

Noah Elliott, from Coombs, Samantha Dimter, from Nanoose Bay and Simon Morrison, also from Nanoose Bay, will be taking part in the athletics portion of the B.C. Summer Games as well.

Bowser’s Megan Ratcliffe will be in the golf event and coach Jonathan Rose, Nanoose Bay, will be on the water with the rowing team.

Heading to the games from Qualicum Beach are Serena Woolnough (athletics), Jacob Lillywhite (rugby) and Mark Lillywhite (coach of both boys and girls rugby).
