Time for cricket

The Arrowsmith Cricket Club will be playing host to the Alberta Cricket Federation this Saturday at the Qualicum Beach Community Park.

This marks the fourth year in a row that the team from Alberta has made it’s way to the Island, touring all across B.C. on their annual trip.

Game time is noon on Saturday and spectators are more than welcome to come on out and enjoy the match.

The Arrowsmith team, made up of players from Nanaimo to Courtenay, has been practicing every Wednesday evening, working on their game and preparing for their season.

Anyone looking to try it out is more than welcome to come out for a practice, Wednesday’s from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
