Arrowsmith Health Care Society receives $32K from 100 Women Who Care

Charity organization receives most votes for donation at latest meeting

Arrowsmith Health Care Society will benefit from a $32,300 donation by the 100+ Women Who Care Oceanside group.

The charity received the most votes at the organization’s Oct. 25 meeting.

The members meet four times a year to nominate and vote on worthy charities. Each member writes a cheque to the charity for $100, which translates into $10,000 or more.

Arrowsmith Health Care Society is a publicly funded not-for-profit campus of care located in Parksville. Arrowsmith Lodge and Cokely Manor provide long-term care, as well as assisted living accommodations.
