Watercolour painting classes at the MAC in Parksville, Chesapeake Shores crews accepting resumes

The McMillan Arts Centre is offering watercolour painting classes with Norma Emerson.

Classes run Tuesdays, March 14 to May 2, from 10 a.m. to noon at the MAC (133 McMillan St., Parksville).

The cost for the eight sessions is $120.

The Chesapeake Shores season two production team is now accepting resumes.

Chesapeake Shores is a locally-filmed Hallmark Channel TV series. It debuted in August 2016 after spending part of the spring and summer filming around Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Nanoose Bay.

The production team is also looking to cast background performers for the second season.

They are looking for people with availability from April to July 2017, people who are reliable with their own mode of transportation, and people who have active lines of communication, including email and cellphones.

Casting requires specific looks and priority is given to those who fit the desired look of the show.
