Beach Day returns to Qualicum Beach waterfront for 2022

The ninth annual QB Beach Day drew a big crowd to the waterfront park on July 17.

The day included performances by the Qualicum Beach Pipe Band, the Black Moon Valley Band, the Belly Laughs Dancers, the Rainbow Stew Cloggers, clowns and a skydiving exhibition.

Activities included kite-building, giant bubbles, sandcastle building, mini putting, rock painting, stand-up paddle boarding and seine netting for sea creatures.

The events, which kicked off at noon, were free, family-friendly and had an environmental focus.
