Bowser Legion Ladies Auxiliary president Healey receives Meritorious Service Award

Award a recognition for her outstanding service

The president of the Royal Canadian Legion Bowser Branch 211 Ladies Auxiliary, Margie Healey, was presented a prestigious Meritorious Service Award.

It is the highest honour a member of the Ladies Auxiliary can receive. It was presented to her by the Deputy Legion Zone Commander Rick Nickerson at the Bowser legion’s annual honors and awards event, Sept. 18

It’s an honour granted to a member who has rendered outstanding continual service to the Ladies Auxiliary and the Legion.

The Bowser Legion expressed their congratulations to Healey on this achievement. The ceremony was followed by refreshments provided by the Ladies Auxiliary.
