Brant Wildlife Festival brings all-ages events to Parksville Qualicum Beach

Festivities begin March 15 and continue until April 16

The Brant Wildlife Festival returns to Parksville Qualicum Beach for 2022.

The festival celebrates nature, particularly the return of the Brant geese as they rest and feed on the shores of mid-Vancouver Island before continuing their migration to northern breeding grounds.

The year’s festival features a mix of more than 25 indoor, outdoor and self-directed events for all ages, including a scavenger hunt and contest, wildlife viewing, river walks, nature camps for children, a Bio-Blitz, nature carving, art and more.

The variety of events will start March 15 and will continue until April 16. Any COVID protocols will be followed at all events.
