Eight budding actors and young film-makers screened their own movie Saturday at the McMillan Arts Centre.
It was the first Filmmaking for Kids camp held as part of the MAC’s Artful Kids summer programs.
In the five-day camp, the kids developed the story, created the outfits, and acted as cast and crew, with help from instructor Kerri Brown.
Brown said the seven to 11 year-olds did really well and she’s excited to hold the camp again next year.
“We are hoping to expand this kind of programming to bring the MAC into the age of digital arts,” she said.
