Vancouver Canucks alumni have been serving up pizza for health-care workers around the province, and NRGH got a delivery this past week.

Bernie Pascall, a former broadcaster and a member of the Canucks Alumni Association, delivered Pizza Hut pizza at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.

Pascall, who lives in the Parksville-Qualicum area, said in an e-mail to Black Press that the gesture was intended to show appreciation to health-care workers for “their dedication during these unprecedented times.”
