Rolling Cones of Qualicum Beach was in the CIBC parking lot on sunny Friday afternoon with all proceeds of all their ice cream sales going to the CIBC Run for the Cure for breast cancer.
Mother and daughter owners Stacey and Wendy Mrack said they did it to support the important cause. The run takes place in communities across the province on Sept. 30, the nearest starts in Beban Park in Nanaimo at 10 a.m. The only other run on the Island is in Port McNeil at the same time.
