Residents flocked to The Old School House’s (TOSH) Art in the Attic Sale on the weekend looking to both buy and sell pieces of art.

By noon there were over 500 paintings brought in for the sale, a record number, said executive director of TOSH Corinne James.

“We have different prints, photos and paintings ... it’s amazing,” she said. “I’ve never seen such an eclectic array of paintings.”

The pieces are currently hung floor to ceiling and as one is sold another is hung. On Feb. 24 the pieces will be marked down and sold until March 6. For more information visit www.theoldschoolhouse.org or call 250-752-6133.
