The Rotary Club of Parksville recently presented a cheque to the Salvation Army, for the purchase of a new industrial stove for the Soup Kitchen.
According to a press release, the appliance was much-needed and will help support the Salvation Army as they attempt to address growing food insecurity in the community.
Funding for this donation comes from weekly Rotary bottle drops, held every Saturday at Speedy Glass.
