The Oceanside Hospice Society (OHS) board of directors have announced Mandy Levesque has accepted the role of executive director.
According to a press release, Levesque steps in for Julie Chambers, will now officially head into a well-deserved retirement.
The release stated Levesque "brings a diverse range of leadership experience within health care and community development to this role, most recently working for Northern Health in Prince George and managing multiple longterm care homes and an adult day care program."
She has a strong background in operations management and capacity building in community settings and is looking forward to working with the Oceanside Hospice Team, volunteers, donors and our community partners," said Ian MacKay, OHS board chair. "Please join me in welcoming Mandy to the OHS family."
