Libby lops her locks for lupus

Young Errington campaigner doesn't want anyone to go through what her friend went through

Libby Elliott doesn’t want anyone to go through what one of her  friends had to go through — waking up one day to feel like she had switched bodies with her grandmother. That’s why she cut her hair Thursday to raise money for research into lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease that can make even young people feel like their bodies are old, worn out and tired.

Elliott cut her hair at Errington Elementary School on May 3, with her long hair going to Locks for Love, which makes wigs for young cancer patients, and all proceeds going towards lupus research. It’s not too late to donate to her worthy cause.
