Community workshop: In the foreground, Nancy Day is working on a piece of art with her weekly group at Nanoose Place Community Centre (2925 NW Bay Rd., Nanoose Bay). Once a week, Day and two or three other artists get together to paint at the centre while also giving constructive criticism to the other artists.
