Royal LePage staff and patrons in Parksville and Qualicum Beach have continued their commitment to collect toys for hospitalized children staying at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH).

Royal LePage Realtor and co-organizer Michele Wuerch, a trained paediatric nurse, organizes appropriate gifts for children undergoing medical treatment with the help of NRGH Unit Coordinator Denise Pond.

“I am very proud of the efforts shown by our Royal LePage offices in Oceanside and the generosity of the community as even a small gift can really lighten the burden for a young patient.”

The toy drive has turned into an annual event and December 2011 marked the third year they delivered new toys to NRGH. This year almost 150 toys will find a new home with a sick child.
