FRENCH CREEK — A rezoning bylaw allowing a 20-lot subdivision off Wembley Rd. in French Creek with dedication of park land passed at the last Regional District of Nanaimo board meeting.
The property, bordered by Wembley and Lowry’s Roads, a RDN community park and Osprey Way to the South, is 2.23 hectares in size, currently vacant and fully treed.
The applicant, Fern Road Consulting Ltd., on behalf of Windward Developments (2002) Ltd, will dedicate 1,189 m2 of park land area in the northeast corner of the property.
