Children can mail a letter to Santa at the North Pole mailbox in the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre.

The City of Parksville is encouraging children to bring their letter to Santa to the special mailbox at the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre.

Youngsters can write their letters at home or at the PCTC, where envelopes are ready, according to the city.

The city will take the letters to the post office regularly.

"Canada Post promises to get the letters to Santa before Christmas with replies from Santa sent once the labour disruption is resolved," the city said in its monthly newsletter It's Your City! "Please expect them a little later this year than in previous years."

The PCTC is located at 100 Jensen Ave. East and the North Pole mailbox is next to the big Christmas tree.
