Parksville legion hosting fashion show

Models will walk the runway on April 9 at the legion

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #49 (146 Hirst Ave., Parksville) is hosting a Spring Tea and Fashion Show on Saturday, April 9.

The all-ages show will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sandwiches, dessert and tea will also be served.

Along with the hour-long fashion show, there will be a cake walk.

Local shop Close To You (174 Corfield St., Parksville) will be providing the clothes for the fashion show.

There are about 6 volunteers from the legion modelling the clothes.

All proceeds from the show will go toward non-profit organizations.
