The City of Parksville is acting as a host city for the 2024 of BC Culture Days, from Sept. 20 to Oct. 13.
An official provincial kickoff was held at the Jensen Centre on Sept. 21 led by acting mayor Sean Wood. Also attending the event was Coun. Mary Beil, Qualicum First Nation Chief Michael Recalma, BC Culture Days program director Nazanin Shoja, and BC Culture Days ambassador Annabelle Bail.
The occasion featured a full day of activities that included booths featuring a variety of art works from different artists from Parksville Qualicum Beach and other communities.
This is the 15th anniversary of BC Culture Days which raises awareness, accessibility, and participation in arts and culture across Canada.
