From parades to concerts to kids activities to a car show, there was plenty to keep the region busy

Parksville Qualicum Beach was busy celebrating Canada Day on Sunday. From parades to concerts to kids activities to a car show, there was plenty to keep the region busy.

Parksville had its usual parade followed by activities in the park, concerts and the fireworks display.

Qualicum Beach held its parade through town followed by a cake cutting, activities along Veterans Way and music throughout the day.

Bowser had a car show, live music and kids’ events at the legion.
