More than 400 quilts will be on display at the Parksville Quilt Show and Sale 2024: Colour the World, scheduled for June 7 to June 9 at Oceanside Place.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The show and sale will include quilting demonstrations, trunk shows and seminars by local quilt artists, plus a grand door prize, as well as daily door prizes.
Members of the Parksville Quilt House Quilter’s Guild’s will once again fill the boutique with hundreds of items for sale. Sixteen merchants will be in attendance at the show and sale with items and offers.

The funds raised by the shows, held every three years, sustain the guild’s charitable activities, according to a news release. Each year the guild donates quilts valued in thousands of dollars to organizations in mid-Island area.
The guild has approximately 300 members and meets monthly at Knox United Church in Parksville.
Admission is $10 per day or $15 for three days.
