Kim Burden, executive director at the Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce, has earned a national award.
Burden is the recipient of executive of the year — an award recognizing excellence in chamber management from the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada.
The award was presented Friday, Sept. 20 in Saint John, N.B.
“I’m honoured and very proud of the team of hard-working innovative people managing the business of the Chamber. This award recognizes the work we do as a group, we’ve increased member retention, increased overall membership, increased engagement and made a good organization great,” Burden said in a press release.
