PHOTO: Quality Foods presents cheque to Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation

More than $20,000 raised during two promotions

Noel Hayward, Quality Foods president, presents Janice Perrino, the CEO of the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation, with a cheque for $22,500. The money was raised by the Becel and Dempster’s promotion and the Pepsi Show Your Heart promotion. For the Becel and Dempster’s promotions, 25 cents from each product in January and February go toward the donation on behalf of all QF customers. This promotion raised $17,500. The Pepsi promotion, $1 from each of the three selected Pepsico products sold goes toward the donation. The promotion raised $5,000. Lauren Collins photo
