The Qualicum Beach Uptown Market Society will be allowed to host its popular summer street market again starting July 8.
The event, cancelled last year due to COVID-19, will be held every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Second Avenue West from Memorial Avenue to Primrose Street until Aug. 26.
Qualicum Beach council endorsed the society’s application to host the event and agreed to enter a Licence of Occupation for the use of town roads and closure for the market.
The market features a myriad of local artisans, home grown and specialty foods, live music, entertainment and more.
