Paradise Acres in Nanoose Bay will hold its first ever Pumpkin Patch Festival this October.

Paradise Acres Ranch in Nanoose Bay will hold its first annual Pumpkin Patch Festival the first and second weekends in October.

The event is planned for Oct. 4 to Oct. 6 and Oct. 11 to Oct. 13. It will be held from noon to 6 p.m., rain or shine.

These pumpkins are grown entirely on horse manure and are therefore organic, according to Paradise Acres. The ranch has one acre of heirloom pumpkins growing on its 125 acres.

Additionally there will be pony rides and an introduction to trail rides.

Food vendors will be on site.
