In what has become an annual tradition in Qualicum Beach, locals and visitors alike came out to enjoy Beach Day on Sunday July, 13. The day kicked off with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Shriners; later about a dozen tents were set up along the shoreline which saw face painting for kids, a marine touch tank from VIU, clowns making balloon animals and lots more. The main stage was set up for Qualicum Beach’s Got Talent live music competition where entertainment was provided for the rest of the afternoon.
