Excitement is building as the Qualicum Beach Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 and the Town of Qualicum Beach are already preparing for Canada Day celebrations in July.

After a two-year pause due to COVID-19, Canada Day celebrations will again take place in Qualicum Beach and will kick it off with a parade that will start at the Civic Centre at noon and work its way through town to Veterans Way.

The day’s events will focus on children and families at the Activity Village as well as a wide range of live music will be offered throughout the day. The nationally acclaimed March Hare Band, CC and Bob Seger Tributes will perform for the street dance at 7:30 p.m.
