Parksville Qualicum Beach turned into a snowy winter wonderland overnight and into Sunday.
The roads were filled with white fluffly stuff that made it slippery and dangerous for motorists. But it hasn’t deterred some people from doing their morning run, walking their dogs and even riding their bicycles. Some residents got their morning exercise as they plowed their driveways and sidewalks.
Municipal road crews were also out with their snow plow doing their best to make the main roads to safer for motorists, who are advised to adjust their driving according to the wintery conditions.
The Parksville Community Park was virtually empty except for the the migrating geese and the gulls who huddled together in the volleyball courts trying to stay warm.
