The St. Andrews Lodge Historical and Cultural Society is jazzing up the waterfront park in Qualicum Beach on Sept. 10.

It is staging an outdoor concert featuring the ‘Typsy Gypsy Jazz Band’ that will play an array of swing music and gypsy jazz. It will be held at the park just behind the historical St. Andrews Lodge, 3319 Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event is a fundraiser for the society, which is working on restoring and upgrading St. Andrews Lodge, one of the pioneer tourist accommodations in Qualicum Beach. The building is over 80-years-old.
