French Creek Community School, like most schools, marked Remembrance Day with a special assembly on Thursday complete with special guests, several songs, a reading of In Flanders Fields, a music video of Terry Kelly’s song Pittance of Time about taking a moment to remember the veterans and of course the minute of silence.
Aside from the crowd of eager parents, there where special guests Jim Walker from the Qualicum Beach Legion and Sgt. Henderson from 19 Wing Comox.
