Tree-chipping and bottle drive at KSS in Qualicum Beach on Jan. 2

Event hosted by Kwalikum Secondary School students with drop-off service only

Kwalikum Secondary School students are looking to help clean up after the holiday season with their annual Christmas tree-chipping and bottle drive on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022.

According to a social media post by the Town of Qualicum Beach, the tree drop off zone will be located in the Park Road parking lot next to the Community Park and near the BMX track. It will operate from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and donations will be appreciated.

The bottle drive collection area will be located in the lower parking lot of Kwalikum Secondary School from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“The service this year will be drop-off only, and all funds will support KSS’ programs and events!” read the post.
