It’s time to get ready for the 38th Annual Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Parksville-Qualicum Book and Puzzle Sale, which runs Sept. 27 to Oct. 1 at the Coombs Fairground.

The money raised helps support an array of scholarships for women and girls in Parksville Qualicum Beach as well as in countries around the world, according to a news release by CFUW PQ.

It’s easy to recycle your good used books and puzzles. Drop them off at the donation box by Save-On-Foods at Wembley Mall in Parksville. If you’re clearing out a house or have a large collection that you’re ready to recycle, CFUW PQ would be happy to pick up the boxed books. Visit cfuwpq.ca to contact the Booksale Commitee.
