It didn’t matter what species of stuffed animal you brought — dozens of kids and their families turned up for the annual Nanoose Days Parade and Quality Foods Teddy Bear Picnic on July 7, clutching some of their best friends.
A parade of firetrucks, mascots and others began a little after 10:30 a.m., following a pancake breakfast by the Nanoose Bay Lions Club earlier that morning starting at 8 a.m.
Following the parade, kids and families headed down to Jack Bagley Field for food, fun and frolicking at the picnic.
