An Earth Day celebration will happen on a stone Labyrinth in Qualicum Beach on April 22.

Celebrate Earth Day this weekend in Qualicum Beach with drumming, songs and poetry on a stone labyrinth.

A labyrinth is a winding circular pathway used today as a walking meditation for health and wellness. It’s a spiritual tool, according to local occupational therapist Holly Carnegie Letcher, who is hosting the event.

Participants can also set goals to take care of mother nature at the event, which will be happening rain or shine.

It takes place today, Friday, April 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Solace Cottage Stone Labyrinth, at 180 Cortes Rd. in Qualicum Beach. The suggested Donation is $10 or $15 per family.
