Six runners passed through the region last Wednesday raising money and awareness for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), with stops at the Legions in Bowser, Qualicum Beach and Parksville. In the relay style run 650 km down Vancouver Island from Port Hardy to Victoria, one or two runners at a time are covering about 20 km a day each, reaching Victoria Friday.
