Beach Flicks presents Rams, a sheepish Icelandic tale, and winner of the Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival.
Rams hits the Beach Flicks screen on Friday, Feb. 17 at the Eaglecrest Golf Course.
The deadpan comedy follows the story of two crusty old bachelor brothers who live side-by-side but haven’t spoken to each other for 40 years. The brothers live on adjoining farmland in a remote Icelandic valley where they proudly raise their prized ancestral stock of sheep. Unfortunately, a disease suddenly infects the herd, but the serious competitors will not give up lightly.
Cleverly written and beautifully filmed, the audience will enjoy this gem of a movie.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the film begins at 7 p.m. sharp. Tickets are $7.
