The ‘Chesapeake Shores’ TV series will film in the Parksville Community Park on June 2 and June 3.

Production will be underway in the vicinity of the Arbutus Point roundabout and in the curling rink parking area, according to a news release by the city.

On June 2, parking will be limited on Beachside Drive near Arbutus Point and on the evening of June 3, park visitors using the large gravel lot will be required to detour on the north side of the curling rink.

As usual, ‘Chesapeake Shores’ will have security and traffic control personnel on site and signage will be posted at the park entrance and to mark off the areas for the production. The filming is weather-dependent.

“We are aware this may be an inconvenience for park users and do appreciate the public’s patience. We are pleased to be able to accommodate Chesapeake Shores requests to film in the city,” reads the release.
