The ‘Chesapeake Shores’ TV show crew will be on location in the Parksville Community Park from May 8 to May 14 for setup, takedown and filming.

The area along the waterfront walkway and near the waterfront gazebo and washrooms will be used by the production during this time, according to a news release by the city.

On May 11 and May 12, the area will be an active filming site and park users should expect intermittent road detours. As usual, ‘Chesapeake Shores’ will have security and traffic control personnel on site and signs will be posted at the entrance to the park and to mark off the production areas.

“We are aware this may be an inconvenience for park users and do appreciate the public’s patience,” stated the release. “We are pleased to be able to accommodate ‘Chesapeake Shores’ requests to film in the city.”
