Comedy tour making stops in Parksville, Qualicum Bay

Big Beast Comedy Tour visits area Dec. 9 and Dec. 11

The Big Beast Stand-up Comedy Tour will return to the Parksville Qualicum Beach area this December.

Damonde Tschritter will headline the tour and will be backed up Chris Gaskin when they visit the Crown & Anchor Pub in Qualicum Bay on Dec. 9 and the Rod & Gun in Parksville on Dec. 11.

“In the continuing effort to rebuild the post-COVID comedy infrastructure, John Beuhler’s Big Beast Comedy Tour is back on Vancouver Island with a hell of a show,” reads a news release.

Tschritter is the only Canadian to win the Seattle International Comedy Competition, according to the release.

“He is backed up by Chris Gaskin. A tempest in a teapot,” the release read. “Chris proves that hilarious things come in small packages. After seeing him you’ll burn your passport and join the Gaskination.”

The shows the the Crown & Anchor Pub (6120 Island Hwy W) and Rod & Gun (163 Alberni Hwy) both start at 8 p.m.
