The Craig Choristers' Christmas concert 'Glory is A-coming' is planned for Dec. 7 at Knox United Church in Parksville.

The Craig Bay Choristers will present their Christmas concert 'Glory is A-coming' on Dec. 7 in Parksville.

The program will include traditional and spiritual pieces such as 'Silent Night' arranged by Ron Klusmeier, as well as a beautiful carol called 'When Christmas Comes' composed several years ago by Oceanside resident Joanna Schwarz, according to a news release by the Craig Bay Choristers.

"You can almost feel the magic of 'Amid the Falling Snow' originally recorded by Enya and the merriment of 'Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas' from Home Alone 2," the release said. "Fun stuff, too, such as the big reveal of what happens during the 'Twelve Days After Christmas'."

A portion of ticket sales will go to support Oceanside Hospice Society, an organization the Choristers have supported for about 15 years.

Tickets are $20 and are available with cash at Fireside Books or by request via cbchoirconcerts@gmail.com. They will also be for sale in the Beach Club upper lobby every Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.
