Oliver Swain and Glenna Garramone’s new duo is called Tower of Song and they are performing a house concert in Qualicum Beach April 25.

Two Victoria-based musicians have combined talents to cover the songs of Leonard Cohen as well as play originals, and they will be performing a house concert in Qualicum Beach this Friday.

Oliver Swain and Glenna Garramone’s new duo is called Tower of Song and they will kick off their Western Canadian tour at the Beaton’s home Friday, the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The duo will perform their re-imagined covers, such as Swain’s live show favourite “A Thousand Kisses”, and Garramone’s unique “Hey That’s No Way to Say Goodbye” as well as originals of their own that are Cohen-inspired. Joining the duo on tour will be cellist Corbin Keep, as well as a selection of local artists who will share their own Cohen covers with audiences along the way.
