Multi-juno award winning jazz performer Phil Dwyer and his up-and-coming musician son, Ben, will perform at the last Acoustic Cafe of the season in Qualicum Beach on Friday, May 6.

He has won countless awards and has played with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Ian Tyson, Red Rodney and Ingrid Jensen. He is also a critically acclaimed composer, arranger and musical director.
Dwyer has been running the Phil Dwyer Academy of Music and Culinary Arts for six years and also hosts the Phil Dwyer Music Festival in Qualicum Beach every summer.
His son Ben is making a name for himself in jazz, so far as a prominent figure in Kwalikum Secondary School’s jazz program and among camps and festivals in B.C.
