Juno award-winning vocalist Sienna Dahlen and composer guitarist Bill Coon will perform at the Old School House (TOSH) Arts Centre in Qualicum Beach on Jan. 27.

Vocalist and composer Dahlen, and guitarist and composer Coon combined their personal and musical connection after meeting “on the scene,” as they put it. The result is an album of mostly jazz ballads, recorded in January 2020. Balladextrous will be officially released in June. The album is made up of standard and lesser-known jazz tunes.

Balladextrous is the result of “a collective desire to honour the mysterious unfolding of the muse, welcoming both surprise and sure-fire musical navigation, leading and supporting one another in a slow dance through time,” according to TOSH’s website.

Seating for the performance will be at tables of two and four, with 60 tickets available at the arts centre (122 Fern Rd W).
