The Oceanside Folk/Roots Club will hold a Christmas concert featuring the Island Brass, Peter Paul van Camp and Mick Sherlock on Dec. 9 at the Qualicum Beach Community Hall (644 Memorial Ave.).
The evening will include traditional Christmas Brass Band fare, seasonal spoken word, poetry, humour, Breton dances and Celtic pipe tunes played on Japanese instruments, according to the club.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
