A renowned Broadway actor-turned Ukrainian Catholic priest is putting on a one-man-show in Parksville this weekend. 

Father Edward Danylo Evanko of Richmond will play Damien, a story of a Catholic missionary who devoted his life to working with lepers on the Hawaiian island Molokai. Evanko said it’s a very powerful and touching play that also has some comedy involved.

The performance happens this Sunday, March 13 at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church of the Ascension in Parksville. Tickets are $15, call Rob Morrison to book at 250-951-8945.
