A pianist and violinist duo will visit Qualicum Beach for a performance at the Old School House arts centre (TOSH) on Oct. 16.
Véronique Mathieu (violin) and Stephanie Chua (piano) will play at 2:30 p.m., according to a news release by TOSH (122 Fern Rd).
Mathieu has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across the world. She recently released Cortège, a new CD featuring the works of 20th Century French composers with long-time collaborator Jasmin Arakawa.
Chua is an expressive and versatile pianist devoted to presenting and performing contemporary works through musical insight and innovative programming.

The duo recently released their debut recording True North on the Centrediscs label.
The performance will be about 75 minutes long with festival seating.
Tickets are $35, plus GST and are available online
Students tickets are $20, plus GST — students must call TOSH at 250-752-6133 for tickets.
There is a max of 60 tickets per show, allowing for adequate seating space.
Tickets are non-refundable.
